Executive Vice President For Commercial Development

Filtrona Fibertec has named Jeff Shugart as executive vice president for commercial development to lead the company’s growth globally. Mr. Shugart joins the company at its Colonial Heights, VA facility from Performance Fibers in Richmond, where he most recently was global marketing director and Americas sales director for the industrial fibers segment. At Filtrona Fibertec, Mr. Shugart is responsible for growing the business through new products, technologies and markets. Reporting to company president Russ Rogers, he manages the marketing and research and development departments. “Jeff brings tremendous experience in commercial development for new applications focused on specialty fibers and polymers, which will be a great asset to Filtrona Fibertec as we accelerate our growth globally,” Mr. Rogers said.
